Data and AI Engineer - Build a Global Analytics Platform!
We’re seeking a skilled and passionate Data Engineer to contribute to a multi-year project: building a global analytics platform for one of the Big Four consultancy firms. This platform empowers teams to ingest, transform, and analyse large financial datasets during business mergers, acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, and recovery. This high-profile project has funding secured and an ambitious roadmap.
About the Role
As a Data Engineer at Atomic Labs, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining scalable, mission-critical data pipelines. You will work remotely but closely with our team, leveraging leading technologies from Microsoft and Databricks, to deliver a world-class analytics solution.
What You’ll Need
- Able to develop and maintain scalable, mission-critical data pipelines.
- Be an expert in SQL and Python skills to manipulate and query data.
- Ability to ingest data from varied sources using platforms such as Fivetran and Airbyte
- Use DBT to create reliable and repeatable data pipelines following software development best practices.
- Make extensive use of the Databricks platform including notebooks, AI/ML, serverless, Unity catalog etc.
- Learn and integrate emerging semantic model management tools such as Databricks Unity Catalog Metrics and MetricFlow from DBT
- Leverage Power BI and Azure Fabric (Power Query/DAX/Desktop/Service)
- Work with large and diverse datasets.
- Utilise cloud data processing technologies.
